About VOEF

The Vietnam Observatory on Economics and Finance (VOEF) is an academic research initiative bringing together economists and finance scholars who aim to promote high‑quality, policy‑relevant, and internationally visible research on economics and finance, with a special attention on the Vietnamese economy and its financial system.

The Observatory serves as a platform for collaboration, knowledge dissemination, and dialogue with the broader public and institutions concerned with public policy.

The Director of VOEF is Nguyễn Văn Phú, PhD, Research Professor (Directeur de Recherche) at EconomiX (a joint research unit of the French National Center for Scientific Research CNRS & Paris Nanterre University).

VOEF is an open and collaborative research initiative. Scholars and practitioners who are interested in contributing to, or collaborating with, the Observatory are warmly invited to contact us. Membership is granted through a co‑optation process to ensure academic excellence, scientific integrity, and coherence with the Observatory’s mission.
